We all know that when we play games on our pc or phone, the screen’s brightness goes down so that it’s easier for us to see.
But what happens if your brightness setting is already low and you still notice a change in light?
This means that there is something wrong with your device or its settings.
Read this blog post to find out how to fix the problem!
Why Does My Phone’s Brightness Go Down when I Play a Game?
Your phone has a light sensor that tells it how much light is in the room so that it can adjust your screen’s brightness accordingly.
When you play games, your phone needs to use more of its power and resources to process all of the data being sent from your game console, which means less power for adjusting brightness.
Or it might be because your phone’s screen is trying to conserve power; it will automatically set the brightness lower for a game in order to save battery.
The phone’s internal algorithm guesses how bright your screen needs to be and then sets the brightness accordingly.
The more intense these graphics are, the brighter your display has been going while playing games on Android phones or iPhones can make them run out of power more quickly.
You can change the brightness manually by adjusting your phone’s settings, but there are a few ways to extend battery life without having to do this every time you play games on your device.
One option is auto-brightness which will automatically set and adjust screen brightness based on what it thinks that you need at the time.
Another option is to turn off auto-brightness and then set your brightness manually with a slider when you’re playing games or watching videos on the phone’s display so that it doesn’t need to adjust as much light every few seconds.
You can also disable notifications while playing in order to reduce distractions, which will, in turn, reduce the amount of power your phone has to use.
The last option is to switch from a game app that you’re playing on back over to using your device’s standard home screen in order to decrease battery usage when not actively playing or watching anything.
In conclusion, upgrading phones with larger screens will help extend their life because they are bigger and can hold more battery life.
The screen’s brightness will not affect how long your device’s battery lasts, but it may make you think that it needs to be charged sooner than a phone with a less powerful display.
Why Does My iphone Brightness Go Down when I Play a Game?
iPhone brightness goes down when you play a game because of the brightness settings on your iPhone, or if you are playing a game with really dark graphics, like ‘The Walking Dead’ or something in black and white.
It will change to low light mode automatically so that you can see what’s happening on the screen clearly without needing to adjust your phone screen brightness.
Suppose you are playing a game with really bright graphics, like ‘Candy Crush Saga’ or something vivid and colorful.
In that case, it will change to high light mode automatically so that the colors pop out on your iPhone screen without needing to adjust the phone screen brightness.
The second reason could be that if you are playing a game requiring lots of your attention, like ‘Assassin’s Creed’ or something action-packed, the phone will dim to save battery and make sure that it doesn’t drain quickly.
The third reason could be because when there is so much going on in one area where you are gaming, it can interfere with the power.
The fourth reason could be because of the frame rate when you are playing a game; if it is really high, then the screen can’t keep up and will dim for that moment to make sure your phone doesn’t overheat.
This is why your iPhone brightness goes down when you play games!
Solution for Screen Dims When Playing Games on Ipad
If your auto-brightness settings are on in Ipad, then your screen brightness automatically dims when it detects dark environments.
The solution is to turn off auto-brightness settings in the iPad so that you can control the amount of light on your iPad with a swipe up or down gesture from inside any app.
This will also help you save battery life since some apps have been found to use more battery life than others.
You can turn off the auto-brightness settings by going to Settings > General and then sliding it until you find Auto brightness under the Display & Brightness section.
Turn this slider all the way down so that your iPad displays at maximum light when in bright environments or dims automatically when necessary.
Additionally, if your iPad is running low on battery life, you may want to turn off the Auto-brightness settings as some applications have been found to use more power than others.
For example, playing games can suck up a lot of energy, so it’s crucial to ensure that the brightness is set to a comfortable level.
Iphone Screen Dims While Playing PUBG
PUBG is a high graphics game that needs a lot of screen brightness to be played.
If your iPhone’s battery is low or you have set a lower power mode on it, the phone will dim down its display automatically to preserve some energy for the game.
The best possible way to prevent this is by turning up the brightness on your iPhone and using an external charger or battery pack during gameplay.
This will ensure that you can play for as long as possible without worrying about dimming the screen!
Additionally, you can try disabling auto-brightness to avoid this issue. To disable auto-brightness, go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto-Brightness.
The brightness slider will be on the left of this screen, and a switch next to it says “Turn Off Auto” should be disabled.
You can also use your volume buttons as shortcuts for turning up or down the brightness while you’re in an app.
This will not only help with screen brightness but also battery life!
If you want to check the current level of power on your iPhone, head over to Settings > Battery, and it’ll show up next to a percentage reading in the larger text at the top of this page.
This can be helpful when deciding whether or not to keep playing while you’re still running on battery.
These are some of the ways that you could prevent your iPhone screen from dimming in PUBG!
If these solutions seem too difficult for you, consider finding a different game as it may not be compatible with low power modes or energy-saving methods.
Screen Dims when Playing Games Windows 10
Up until a few months ago, I had no idea why my screen would dim when I played games.
Even if the brightness is on and set to the max before playing, it quickly dips to about 20%.
If you’ve been experiencing this too, there might be a fix for your problem!
The Windows operating system has two different ways of handling brightness: one for when it’s on battery, and the other is when it’s plugged in.
When you plug your computer into a power outlet, Windows may set screen brightness to 100% but still use the same setting while running on battery (which can be as low as 20%).
To fix this issue, go to your Start Menu, enter “Power Options” in the search bar at the bottom of your list. From there, head to Change plan settings for power saving and select High Performance from the drop-down box. Click on Save changes, and you should be all set!
This will prevent Windows from dimming your screen while plugged into a power outlet and should also fix the problem if you happen to be running on battery.
Additionally, you can also use the F.lux app to ensure your screen doesn’t dim while playing games in Windows:
Download and install the free version of this application on your computer, then select “Settings > Auto-enable for Games (Recommended)” from within the Preferences window.
This will keep all settings as they are when you’re not playing your game, so you don’t need to change any settings when switching between running on battery or plugged into power.
Screen Goes Dark when Playing Games in Pc
If you’re not experiencing this issue with one game, but rather every single time you play a PC game, there might be an underlying problem.
The monitor settings could be set too dark to compensate for the brightness of the environment in which it is being used, or your display drivers may have been corrupted from malware such as keyloggers.
If this is the case, you’ll need to uninstall and reinstall your graphics drivers.
Updating graphics drivers can make a dramatic improvement in your display’s color and contrast.
It can also fix issues with flickering or ghosting as well as improve performance by reducing lag spikes, which is especially helpful when playing games on your PC.
Additionally, many monitors have an auto-brightness setting that will lower the brightness when content is shown on it too long. You can adjust this in your monitor’s advanced settings (although some manufacturers may not allow changing of these settings).
These are some ways to fix your screen going dark when playing games on PC.
